Happy Valentine's Day

Just thought I'd share a picture of Hannah before preschool yesterday. She attends on Tues and Thurs, so they celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday which included a visit from the dental hygenist. Hannah came home talking all about the "sugar monsters" that we must brush off her teeth. Here's to easier teeth brushing!!!

I just realized that I didn't update you on the pregnancy. Today is 19 weeks. Monday I had an appointment with the perinatologist. I left the house at 12:30 and didn't get home until 6:45. 5pm traffic in the rain was awful, besides waiting forever at the dr's office. The appointment was much better, though, than it has been been the past few weeks. Baby looks good still and all the bleeding has stopped. No contractions showed on the ultrasound either. The only downside was that my cervix has begun to shorten but it's still closed. 18-22 weeks is the "danger zone" for an incompetent cervix and it looks like mine is going to follow the statistics. She prescribed the weekly 17P injections which is a form of injection that has been shown to greatly reduce preterm labor. Please, please work!!!

Kathy that I "met" on 25 Things for Charity has posted photos of her donation to the Emmazing Grace Foundation. The gowns and blankets are wonderful and my how fast she is!!!!! Thank you so very much, Kathy!

Oh, I almost forgot. My new yarn came in the mail last night. I think I'm really going to like it. I'm going to try some booties in a bit. Btw, Aunt B's Angel Wrap stumped me. I'll write more later and see if someone has a suggestion for me. Basically, I can't figure out what "make a ring around the finger" means. Remember, I have actually never seen anyone crochet in person. LOL!
