Ramblings.....

First of all, I must apologize. Although I think that most everyone that reads my blog, reads Wool Windings'. I wanted to make a public thank you for the beautiful gown that she is donating to the Emmazing Grace Foundation. It truly is breathtakenly beautiful and I'm so jealous that I will not be able to see it in person. She is mailing it to my Mom who is taking care of mailing the package this time. Thank you! Thank you!! Btw, if you haven't checked out her blog, do so. Not only is she a fabulous knitter, she takes beautiful photos.

Also, Kathy has joined us. She regularly donates to the Huntsville Hospital like we do. It's a small world! I love Kathy's fleece and crochet blankets. I need to try this myself. Thank you, too, Kathy for the work you do for the preemies and for honoring my daughter this way!

Lastly, today I received the Emmazing Grace Foundation's first application for financial assitance. Baby Keinan was born at 25 weeks gestation due to PROM (premature rupture of the membranes) and lived 2 days. Please say a quick prayer for his family! We will be helping with the cemetery marker.

So much good is being done in Emma's memory!

The fleece blankets are beautiful! I noticed you were wondering how to punch the holes. I tried my hand at crochet edging once and used a sewing awl to punch the holes. I bought mine at JoAnn Fabrics. It works well and is made for things like this.

BTW, I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and they no longer had the Caron baby yarn I was telling you about. I don't know if it's just the store I shop at or if they have quit carrying it at all stores.

Praying for Keinan's family. How sad they had reason to need your foundations work, but what a blessing that you are doing this work.
