One of Jason's co-workers in Chicago has volunteered his group to make memory boxes as a team building experience. They volunteer every year doing community projects and this year they would like to help us. Obviously, I can't go to Chicago to help out so I'm thinking of ordering things online and having it shipped to them.
There will be 10-12 individuals working 4-6 hours on memory boxes. Do you have any clue how many boxes I should order? I guess I'll order paint, brushes, paper, stickers, etc.
They want to do this the week of Dec 9th so I need to get ordering. If you have any advice, please post. I want to make sure that this is a successful project. Thanks!

Maybe each person might mske 3 boxes each in the time allotted? I really don't know. I have never made a memory box so don't know how long it takes. I just read about Hannah's pneumonia and I am very sorry she is so sick. Hope she is better now.

I'm clueless about this, because I've never made memory boxes.
Thanks ya'll! I was thinking 3, too, but a friend of mine just suggested that I send more....saying that even if they didn't get all of the decorated they could at least get the base coat of paint on them.
Hannah and I started painting 2, but PT and stuff got us sidetracked. So...I haven't ever actually made one either. ;-)
I'M THINKING MORE THAN 3 CANDY.LET EVERYONE PAINT ONE BOX THEN HAVE A FEW START CUTTING PAPER TO SIZE WHEN THEY GET ENOUGH TO START WORKING WITH A COUPLE MORE STOP PAINTING AND START GLUING PAPER.WHEN ALL ARE THE PAINTING IS DONE THEY CAN HELP CUT AND GLUE. IT TAKES LONGER TO PAINT THAN ANYTHING. THE CUTTING AND GLUING GOES FAST. IF THE CUTTING GETS CAUGHT UP THEY CAN START PAINTING AGAIN. IT WORKS A LOT FASTER WHEN YOU HAVE AN ASSEMBLEY LINE GOING.
IF THEY GET THEM ALL PAINTED WELL THAT'S THE WORST PART, WELL THE SLOWEST PART.I LOVE PAINTING THEM.
I'M THINKING 4 OR 5 DOING IT THIS WAY. I'M FEELING BETTER, I'LL GO PAINT A BOX AND SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES.
