Little Miss Muffet

This has very little to do with crafting and absolutely nothing to with charity work, but I just HAD to share with you my Little Miss Muffet.

Yesterday Hannah's preschool had a nursery rhyme parade complete with Mother Goose. The costume is thrown together by the women in my family. My grandmother (Hannah's great-grandmother) bought the dress last spring from Dollywood. The bonnet, believe it or not, was one that either my sisters or myself wore as a child. ((Note to Mom: It is really ok to throw some things out.)) I made the little apron.

As cute as this is, she INSISTS on being a pumpkin for Halloween. That's a 3 year old for you! :-)

she's really beautiful! What an adorable little outfit. Oh and I believe my mom also has some little hats like that from our childhood days. :)

She's adorable! So is the costume :)

I keep telling my mom that it's OK to throw out the earth tones floor length robe I crocheted for her in the 70's. I haven't convinced her yet. All from Red Heart Worsted in shell stitch. Can you even imagine how heavy that thing is? What can I say... I was still young!
